It's that time of the year when a dose of winter is intermingled with the melting of snow.  The weather could take a turn in either direction but even those that love winter start to feel the pull of spring with it's sunny skies and warm days.  We are thinking of spring here at Re-Treat and welcome you in to explore all the new vignettes of soft colors, flowers, and fun finds. February 4, 5, & 6 - Welcome Home!

Yes, it's that time when Re-Treat returns from its annual but short lived hibernation.  Every year we take January off to clean, patch, and paint the walls.  After decorating for 12 events (multiple days) over the year, it's amazing the amount of holes in the walls that need some attention.  The refresh is done,  and the store is now all redecorated with lots of fun new finds for our February event "Welcome Home".  We hope you can join us:  Thursday 5-8pm, Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm.

December 3, 4, & 6 - All is Bright

We are in the home stretch of 2015 with only two more Re-Treat weekends left! This weekend we have "All is Bright" and next weekend is our annual second December weekend "More Please".  The holidays are always such a fun time at Re-Treat as we get to scatter glittery and shiny things throughout the store. Yes, we actually have a storage tote labeled glittery and shiny things and all those garlands, lights, etc. are helping to bring the "Bright". So many fun things this month including vintage, handmade, and repurposed, we are sure you won't see everything the first time through!  And of course we will flip things around for one more go next weekend for "More Please" just in case you need a few more holiday gifts.

All is calm, all is bright ....  See you Thursday 5-8pm, Friday 10am-6pm, and/or Saturday 10am-4pm!

November 5, 6, & 7 - Jingle All The Way

And just like that, we are crossing the threshold of winter.  The clocks have been turned back, the leaves have fallen from the trees, and now we begin our snow dance.  Okay, maybe not everyone is doing a dance and looking forward to snow but it is coming, we know it is.  So get ready, this month we bring you, "Jingle All The Way".  We have lots of great holiday items and early holiday ideas at Re-Treat this month and of course the usual fun.  Let the hunt for cozy gifts and decorative treasures begin!

November comes
And November goes,
with the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,

October 1, 2 & 3 - Trick or Re-Treat

With the cold of the last few nights, it won't be long before the landscape turns to brilliant shades of yellow, orange, and red.  We've had a lovely stretch of bonus warm days that have pushed fall off a few weeks and we hope you've enjoyed them as much as we have. That said, we also know fall is upon us as we've had a lot of fun vignetting at Re-Treat this month and fully embracing the change of seasons.  In addition to pumpkins, owls, fall floral, and halloween decor...after a quick junking trip to the Twin Cities last month there's lots of fun new things throughout the store.  While we call this month Trick or Re-Treat...don't worry there's no Trick, we are open Thursday 5pm-8pm, Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm!  Come visit (We have candy!)

Harvest Thyme - September 10, 11, & 12

Each year summer seems to come on slowly but disappears in a flash.  You can already feel the grip of autumn with cool nights and changing leaves.  At Re-Treat we embrace the change of seasons and the transition to fall decorating is a favorite. This month the pumpkins are out and there's an abundance of fall colors throughout the shop. Hoping you can join us and celebrate the new season! Open Thursday 5pm-8pm, Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm.

Re-Treat Flea - August 6, 7 & 8

It's August and time for our Re-Treat Flea market!  Re-Treat is open regular hours this weekend and on Saturday you can shop our select vendors who will be set up selling vintage goods outside the shop.  This is always a fun weekend as Saturday we will also dig into the depths of the store (aka pit of despair or field of dreams) and pull out some of the cool things we are just tired of moving around or projects that we haven't quite tackled and price them to go!  So remember, lots of great finds all three days and on saturday you can also shop the original Houghton area Vintage Flea.  Be sure to bring your friends so they don't miss one of the best Re-Treat Design weekend's of the year!
