June 1, 2 & 3 Weathered and Worn

This is one of my favorite quotes and I think of it every time I come home with new bruises from an outdoor adventure. It seems that not only us but our homes should also tell a life story, weathered and worn has character and a history that bright and shiny does not. What is your favorite piece in your home? I bet it is not new but a family heirloom or a unique vintage piece that you discovered on a excursion with family or friends. Maybe a coffee table that was dragged back from a flea market in Minnesota with it's stained top from a life most likely in a workshop or barn and legs revealing shades of leftover blue, grey and white paint? If that coffee table could talk, it would also say what a ride....and now it is part of my story...

May 4, 6 & 7 - Come Be Inspired

We are open Thursday 5-8pm (and Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-4pm)! This month's theme is "Come Be Inspired" and we are pretty sure all of us can use a little Spring inspiration about now. There is no better time to refresh your home with a few new ideas hopefully Re-Treat can be of some help on the motivation front. It seems the shop is bursting with lots of bright colors, fun finds, and vintage treasures for your porch, your living room, or you mom (?). Oh, yes, this is your reminder that mother's day is coming up on Sunday, May 14th. Inspirational ideas: soaps, candles, necklaces, planters, and more. You are welcome :) See you this weekend!
